Italy
2000 Summer Olympic Games
Sydney, Australia
By Andrew Daratt

Italy is a historic country full with beautiful sites and landmarks. Their language spoken there is Italian such as French and Spanish. They have a republican type of government. Their history is full of battle and art. There were wars like the French Revolution and the World Wars. But this doesn't stop Italy from enjoying their national holidays such as the Anniversary of the Liberation, Labor Day, Assumption Day, All Saints' Day, Easter Monday, and so on. The foods of Italy are fabulous. Theres pasta left and right, macaroni, rice, different vegetables, different fruits and meats, and of course there is pizza. In the 2000 Summer Olympics, Italy has won 34 medals. 13 gold medals, 13 bronze, and only 8 silver medals. I think they did pretty good.
